Welcome to Computer Graphics. This class is an intermediate computer art class focused on the basics art elements; line, shape, space, value, form, texture, and color as well as the art principles; balance, proportion,. emphasis, variety, movement, rhythm, harmony.Using these art elements students will create beautiful and inspiring works of art. To create our art we will be using the computers and Adobe imaging programs such as Photoshop and Illustrators, programs which are industry standards in the Graphic Design World.

This Category is all about the projects and the artwork created. Each project is graded against a rubric composed of 5 objectives each worth 20 points. The rubrics are provided at the beginning at the each project and the objectives are always on the project page

Intro Art Assignment: REcreate A Famous artwork
What is a parody?
A parody is a work that mimics the style of another work, artist, or genre in an exaggerated way, usually for comic effect. Parodies can take many forms, including fiction, poetry, film, visual art, and more.
The iconic painting parodies poke fun and/or gives new meaning to some of the most brilliant paintings in history. They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so the artists who made these paintings have a lot to be proud of.
Pick a famous artwork. Using the resource given go and pick an artwork. You must save a image of the art to your computer.
in google classroom find the assignment titled Art Parody Pre assignment and upload your chosen artwork. In addition answer there three questions about the artwork.
to introduce photopea and the world of digital art we are going to complete a simple copy and paste project. The goal is to take a famous artwork and try to recreate a collage "SPOOF" In the tutorial to the right, I will walk you recreate Magritte surreal piece, which you are more than welcome to do (but you can also just take the ideas and recreate your own... It doesn't have to be Magritte) I'll show you the process of copy/pasting and show you the three different selection methods that will then allow you to copy and paste. This project aims to be very basic as we really just want to get familiar with photopea.
The skills gained in this project will be the foundation to use throughout the year.
